Une expérience exceptionnelle chez Le Vin Devant Soi. Stéphane a gentiment pris le temps de nous présenter les vins de la région, ce qui a rendu la visite encore plus enrichissante. Le concept est excellent : une large sélection de vins disponible via des distributeurs automatiques, permettant de déguster des verres de 3 cl, 6 cl ou 12 cl à son rythme. C’est une manière agréable de découvrir différents vins sans avoir à acheter une bouteille entière. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la possibilité de goûter une belle variété de vins de qualité. The best! Self taste with a pro-rated card and expert knowledge given to you by a sommelier level staff member. Honestly the most graceful, indulgent and informative tasting I have had in six trips to France. You can’t go wrong drinking wine in France, but you don’t always get the info you want. This wine bar/shop was super cute and I stumbled across it by accident. I popped in here for a pre dinner wine. Great system where you get a preloaded card and can taste whichever wines you like then you pay your balance at the end. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

There's a bank of about 20 wines, plus some spirits, in a contraption that charges you for each pour using a card the staff give you. There's 3 different pour sizes. The wines range from so-so to great, but all were interesting. The staff is happy to make recommendations.

This shop is quite amazing! In one section of the shop, you can do wine tastings of up to 32 different wines, including some of their more expensive vintages. There are different prices for a tasting portion, half glass, or full glass of the different wines. The other section of the shop sells both local liqueurs and spirits from around the world. The owner was very kind and engaging. He took the time to explain the different kinds of pastis and chartreuse, and even allowed me to sample some of them so I could make an informed choice before buying a bottle. We wanted to try the regions wines and considered a half day wine tour (70 Euro PP), so glad we didn't. An informal visit to Le Vin Devant Soi turned out to be exactly what we wanted. No booking, just a walk in. 2 hrs later we had tried 8 wines including Red and White Châteauneuf du Pape and and Gigondas as well as Lirac Reds and Tavel Rose. We received a passionate and very interesting input about the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, its soils, elevations, weather and grape varieties that make this provence an impressive and diverse growing region.
